Gum or Soft Tissue Grafting

At Dr. William E. Mason Periodontics & Dental Implants, we perform Soft Tissue Grafting, also known as Gum Grafting. This procedure can be used to cover exposed roots after the gum recedes. Dr. Mason and Dr. Lamble may recommend covering the root for aesthetic reasons, to address sensitivity or gum inflammation, to prevent recession from worsening, or to prepare the area for a crown.
